Runway 5k, Oshkosh, WI. 7/31/10 – Goal time: 40:00. Official time (chip timing): 37:03
Karhu 5k (in conjunction with the 13.1 Series Half-Marathon), Lake Nokomis, MN. 8/22/10 – Goal time 37:00. Official time (chip timing): 36:24
Nickle Dickle Day 5k, Waconia, MN. 9/18/10 – Goal time: 38:00. Official time (chip timing): 38:44.
Team Ortho Monster Dash, Lake Harriet, MN. 10/30/10. Goal time: 37:00. No chip timing, need to look up my Garmin time.
Team Ortho Polar Dash, W. River Parkway, Mpls. to St. Paul, MN. 1/1/11. Goal time: 77 minutes. Official time (chip time): 84:43
Team Ortho Get Lucky 7k, downtown Mpls, MN. 3/19/11. Goal time: 65 minutes. Official time (chip time): 63:19.
Team Ortho Minneapolis Half-Marathon, Mpls, MN. 6/5/11. Goal time: 3 hours, 30 minutes. Stretch goal: 3 hours 10 minutes. Official time (chip time): 3:03:39!!
Dog Day 5k, Mpls, MN. 6/11/11. Just out for a leisurely 5k walk with Heidi, Jake, Aurora (their Husky), Sean, and Jetta. 1:05:11.
Do Life Tour 5k, Mpls, MN. 7/15/11. Just went for camraderie, and ended up running the entire 5k, for the first time since Monster Dash last year. 38:55.
Runway 5k (Oshkosh, WI) 7/30/11. Goal time: 45:00 (running with Sean). Official time: 46:17 (it was really hot and humid!)
Team Ortho Minneapolis Duathlon, Mpls, MN. 8/28/11. Goal time: 2 hours, 53 minutes (5k#1-38 minutes, bike-90 minutes, 5k#2-45 minutes). Official time (chip time): 2 hours, 48 minutes (5K#1 = 39 minutes, bike 80 minutes, 5K#2 = 41 minutes)
MDRA Labor Day Victory 10K, Mpls, MN. 9/5/11. Goal time: 80 minutes. Official time: 78:46 (peeled 5 minutes 57 seconds off of my 1st 10K race in January… almost a minute per mile!)
Mill City Suds Run, Mpls, MN. 9/10/11. No goal, just out w/ Heidi & Aurora & Jetta to walk the doggies and maybe have a beer! Actual time: 80 minutes. I did, in fact, stop for 15 min to have a beer.
Maine Half-Marathon. 10/02/11. Goal time: 2 hours, 59 minutes. Official time (chip time): 3:35.19 (14.9 miles, after missing the HM turnaround!)
Team Ortho Monster Dash 5k. 10/29/11. Goal time: 42:00 (running with Sean). Official time (Garmin time): 50:00 (mostly walking)
Turkey Day 5k. 11/24/11. Goal time:46:00. Official time (Garmin time): 50:35 (walking)
Running Room Resolution Run 5k. 12/31/11. Goal time: 36:00. Official time (Garmin time): 38:23.
Team Ortho Polar Dash. 1/1/12. Goal time: 42:00. Official time (Garmin time): 43:15 **Sean came in at 42:15 – this is the first race where he beat me!
Get Lucky 7k. 3/18/12. Goal time (running with Sean): 56:00. Chip time: 58:16. (Sean came across in 59:15, which was great, as I wanted him to break 60 min!). I went on to run/walk 12.7 more miles that day as a part of a 17-mile marathon training day.
2nd annual Do Life Tour 5K (Lake Calhoun): Goal time: have fun. Actual time: 38:30. Sean and Jetta cut 3 minutes off of Sean’s Polar Dash 5k time and came in at 39:24!
Minneapolis Marathon Relay (w/ Amanda, Corryn, & Meredith). 6/3/12. Goal time: 5:10:00. Goal time on my leg of 6 mi: 1:20:00. Actual time: 5:12:05! My leg of 6 miles: 1:18:10!
Grandma’s Marathon. 6/16/12. Goal time: 7:00:00. Actual time: 6:46:57 – I was slow, but I’m still a marathoner!
Sprint Tri, Springstead, WI. 8/12/12. (1/4mi swim, 14 mi bike, 5k run). Goal time: 2:30:00 (65 min bike, 40 min 5k, 45 min swim). I decided this is not the year for a triathlon, so I am going to aim for the August 2013 YWCA Women’s Triathlon at Lake Nokomis!
Summerfest Rock’n Sole Quarter-Marathon (Milwaukee). 6/23/12. Goal time: 1:32:00. Actual time: 1:25:51. Sean ran this race in 1:26:14 – his longest distance to date and a great pace of just over 13 minutes per mile!
EAA AirVenture 2012 Runway 5k (Oshkosh, WI), 7/28/12. Goal time: 38:30. 3rd year in a row… hoping to help Sean break 40 min, but just happy to be running through the air show grounds! Actual time (chip time): 38:09, and Sean came through in 38:30!
Minneapolis Duathlon. 8/26/12. (5k run, 15 mi bike, 5k run) Goal time: 2:20:00 (38 min ea 5k run, 65 min bike). (shortened course from last year – 15 mi bike instead of 18.1) Actual time: 2:41.33 – it was a rough race, but I finished!
Iron Girl Duathlon. 9/23/12. (2mi run, 22 mi bike, 2 mi run). Goal time: 2:43:00 (26 min ea 2mi run, 111 min bike). Actual time: 2:53:00. I ran the 1st 2 miles in 23.15 (!), biked 22.8 miles in 118 minutes, and ran the 2nd 2 miles in 26:40. Had a great time, and need to train on hills w/ the bike!
Maine Half Marathon, Portland, ME, 9/30/12. Goal time: 2:58:00. I think I can pull 5.5 minutes off of my Minneapolis Marathon time from last year! And this year: no missing the turnaround! Actual time (chip time): 3:03:30. a 9-second PR. I ran the 1st half of the race at 10k pace… which was too fast for 13.1 pace! I will return and do this race again and again until (a) I get a sunny race and/or (b) I break 3 hours!
Team Ortho Monster Dash 10 Mile. 10/27/12. Goal time: 2:15:00.
