Good morning, dreamers! Well, today’s my Wednesday weigh-in, and I am pleased with the result.
- 1/1/12 weight: 163.8 lb (oof!)
- 1/11/12 weight: 162.2 lb
- 1/18/12 weight: 160.8 lb
- 1/25/12 weight: 159.8 lb
- Weekly Weight Gain/Loss: -1.0 lb
- Total Weight Gain/Loss: -4.0 lb.
I am very happy with the results. I am sure being back on the exercise wagon is helping, with 3 run, 2 swim, and 2 bike workouts in my week.
Sean was a doll and cooked dinner last night, and cooked tonight’s dinner to put in the fridge! I was kind of stressing out about everything on my plate (no pun intended) right now, with marathon training, school, and work. It comes down to maximizing my weekend prep for recipes during the week and doing a lot of crockpot recipes this semester.
I need to be better about asking Sean for help when I feel overwhelmed. I want to be a capable, contributing partner in this marriage, and sometimes, I forget that being a capable, contributing partner means saying, “Can you help me pick up some slack for a little while?” He’ll do that, and more, if I just ask. Apparently one of my lessons for 2012 is learning to more effectively ask for help.
Apparently, I am a space cadet today, by the way. I shut part of my finger in the car door after I dropped Jetta off at daycare (yes, my dog goes to daycare. It’s the best $ I spend all month!) and then I was all lost in thought and missed my regular exit for work. I am hoping I can find some brain cells here in the next few minutes or it’s going to be a long day.
